Full Title: Haashiyat ad Durrah al Madiyyah fee ‘Aqd al Firqah al Mardiyyah.
An explanation of Aqd al Firqa al Mardiyyah by al ‘Allaamah Muhammad ibn Ahmad as Safareenee.
The author states in his introduction: ‘…it was requested of me to write a brief explanation of this magnificent booklet which consists of the creed of al Firqah al Mardiyyah. So I responded hoping for Allaah’s reward, traversing upon the path of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah, I also clarified the areas where the author of the book contradicted the Salaf so that it may be amongst the best of commodities.
I presented it to the most knowledgeable scholar of our time, the Mujtahid, the firm one; ash Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ibraaheem ibn ‘Abdul Lateef Aal ash Shaykh [the former Mufti of Saudi Arabia prior to ibn Baaz], and other scholars. It came back and all praise is due to Allaah, a treasure for the seekers of knowledge, a clear sign for the interested, a book supported by evidence, in accordance to the creed of the Salaf…’
